All Gas 2 U Services

1. Roadworthy / Safety Certificate (RWC)
  • If you’re registering a caravan or motorhome in Queensland — or selling one — you’ll need a valid Roadworthy Certificate (also called a Safety Certificate). Our mobile inspectors check your brakes, tyres, chassis, lights, coupling, suspension and more to make sure you meet Queensland Transport requirements. If there are minor issues, we can help you sort them out so you can get on the road fast. Valid for: 2 months or 2,000 km (whichever comes first) for private sales.

2. Gas Compliance / Gas Certificate
  • If your caravan or motorhome has a fixed gas system (hot water, stove, fridge, heater), you’ll need a Gas Certificate for registration or sale. We inspect and test your entire LPG system for leaks, safety and compliance under the AS/NZS 5601.2 (2020) standard for caravan gas installations. We also supply and replace LPG bottles as needed — so you can get your certificate and your gas sorted in one visit. Valid for: 3 months for QLD registration use.

3. HVRAS (Heavy Vehicle Registration Assessment Scheme)
  • When a caravan or motorhome comes into Queensland from another state and is unregistered (or never registered in QLD before), it needs a HVRAS Inspection before registration. We measure the vehicle’s length, width, and axle weights, check the VIN and chassis numbers, and ensure everything matches Queensland Transport standards. No need to bring it anywhere — we’ll come to you and handle it onsite.

Minor Fixes & Friendly Advice
  • While we’re not a mechanical workshop, we carry basic tools and parts to help with small repairs that might stop your vehicle from passing. We’ll always explain the issue and help you find the easiest, cheapest way to get it sorted.
